| | giddy | ] | This year's Pennsic reading is going to be The Tain. Heaven help my pronunciation. As usual, I'll start on the middle Friday, at 18:00, rain or shine, and continue through the final Friday, perhaps doing a bit more at the 21st century party. |

neat!
I don't know if you saw my email a week or two ago... do we have final work on who's camping at Tagmata this year?
~L
Final word? No. The number of folks who have pre-registered this year is small - you and Richard, James and Sarah, Penny, Mara, and me. We might get Corwyn, Barbara, Brad, or some number of Kobayashis at the last moment. If there's someone you'd like to have camp with us, of course, do trot their name out and it'll probably fly.
I'm always ready for Cecil to make the move over, for example.
I will arrive Sunday of middle weekend. :)

So the deal is this, as a guest, anyone can propose you, but only I can veto you. As a permanent member, anyone can veto you.
I made my first answer pretty much predicting what people who are coming to Pennsic would actually say - if for some odd reason there is a serious objection to you being a guest, I'd have to consider things - but I'm confident enough to bypass what I think of as due process, and will go back and fix things if it turns out I'm wrong.
If you and/or your family want to become permanent members of tagmata, I would do a formal polling.

No objection here. :) Nor can I imagine any from the Chicago contingent.
Which version will you be using? Kinsella? (That's the one I'm familiar with.)
Oooh, a new one! Cool. I'll see if I can locate a local copy and check it out.
Or, you know, you could come by our camp and listen to it. :)
Oh, I always like to read the book before seeing the movie. ;> But yes, perhaps this year we will switch our camp dinnertime away from 6pm. It's the best reason I can think of, certainly.
